You Are Not Forgotten
I would just like to take a moment of silence for the brave men and women who gave their lives in the name of freedom.
Thank you to all the veterans that have served to defend the homeland. Thank you to all the ones who sacrificed limbs and who will never be the same again but still keep going. Thank you to all the families who support the wounded warriors in their everyday struggle. My heart goes out to the ones who deal with vicious flashbacks from scenes that haunt their memories and can’t be taken away. To the ones who deal with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and all the horrors it encompasses. Your bravery will never be forgotten in this world of the poor me and confused. I am sorry you have to see what this country has become after all that you have sacrificed. Without the brave men and women like you, these ungrateful generations would not even have the right to take a stand against the flag and the ideals it represents. The original thread that had sewn those stars and stripes together with blood and tears. The government once built on a solid foundation of freedom and liberty now stands on the backs of world banks and corporations. That does not change the fact that this is still America and it took blood, courage and sacrifice to have this beautiful nation. So with arms wide open I reach out with a hug and send you all some much needed love. Thank you for your service, for your sacrifice and for your courage. The upcoming generations can learn a lot from you about the duty to your fellow men and women. There are not enough proper words to convey the thanks that is due, so I will just say again how much you are appreciated and we all thank you.
