Smile And Wave
I can still see hope that glimmers in humanity. Many are facing hard economic times right now. The system that was set up is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. Inflation is mandatory for the survival of a debt based system. The extermination of the middle class is well underway. Those who are on the lower rungs of the societal ladder are being tested like never before. All the bad we see all around us is nothing to worry about. If you did not have evil, you would not know what good is. Despite all the evil in the world, there is still good. You just have to change your perspective on how you look at life. If we constantly focus on the bad then we will never experience the good. If we are worried and subscribed to the fear propaganda that is pushed on us daily, then we never would have seen the beauty in the innocence of the children’s faces we pass at the grocery store. We would have missed that kind person that held the door for the next patron. We could have never seen the dragon the clouds formed in the sky or the beautiful sunset that looks like a painting.
These are just some of the small things we miss when we allow ourselves to be caught up in the endless conflicts of life. My point is, regardless if we see it or not, it is still there. Life comes at us hard, and it is easy to get ensnared by negativity. It is also just as easy to change how we see and do things to a positive nature. Well, it may not be an easy task at first, but with constant realization of our speech and actions and willingness to change, it can be done. One of my biggest issues that I deal with is road rage. I do not understand why the littlest thing can get me so mad on the highway. Actually, I think maybe it is because when we drive, we expect a certain amount of respect from others. When that is challenged, we lose control over a situation and we do not like this. Once again, another reason for conflict protruding from our egos. I realize that this is an area that needs improvement on my behalf and I try and make an effort to be aware and change. So, now when someone cuts me off or does something that makes me mad, I smile and wave. They are looking for that control over you, they do not respect the way that you view life. They want your energy. By not allowing yourself to be overcome with your own ego and come from a place of positivity, you change the dynamics of the energy from a theft to an exchange. This same scenario plays out in all aspects of our lives and can be applied as such.
When it comes down to the principles of inter personal relationship skills, 9 out of 10 conflicts are energy battles. Someone sees something differently than another does and our ego tells us that they are wrong and we need to prove it to them. This action could not be further from the truth. As we are all beings of energy, we seek and crave energy exchanges. Since most of us were never taught about the energy centers in our bodies, we do not know how to maintain the system. Being brought up in a world of conflict, we have adapted the idea of using conflict to get what we lack in energy. Say for example, when you are having an argument with someone and you produce facts that completely wreck the foundation of their whole belief system and you can see this fact on their face, you feel charged up because you won the argument. This is not a proper exchange of energy. You walk away charged up and the other person is left feeling down and depleted. This is not right. All parties involved in a conversation should walk away feeling charged equally. Our ego is our worst enemy. If we allow it to make the choices for us, we are energy vampires stealing energy instead of exchanging it as is intended. Just because we win does not change the fact the other lost, and this affects all of us in a negative manner because we are all connected. Gaining power over others only weakens ourselves.
Energy is all around us and easily accessible, it does not have to be stolen. This year, take a little time to unplug. Get out in nature, experience the beauty and the power of tranquility. Allow yourself to let go of these established ideas of what we truly are. Sit in the woods or up in the mountains and don’t think, just listen and feel. Breathe in all the beauty and simplicity that surrounds you. Realize what we are all truly part of and how exquisite it all really is. We are not enemies, we are brothers and sisters that are capable of feeding each other equally in any situation that arises. It is all about how we choose to perceive the moments in our lives.
There is great power and learning in meditation. Even if you are someone that does not believe in this art, the results can not be denied. Taking a little time each day to not think, close your eyes, and listen to the fact of not listening, can have great impact on the ability to control the ego and dive further into the depths of our souls. It is a healing and cleansing experience for our bodies and minds. It will also change the way we view life and how we interact with it. Time to recharge our batteries and reflect on the world, is essential to changing the way we perceive the world. You can also use this time to focus sending love and positivity out in the universe. Something I like to do is sit down in a dark room. Close your eyes and picture a glowing ball of light at your feet. Now picture that ball of light slowly coming up through your body. As it is flowing up through your body, allow the feeling of healing and positivity to fill you. Each energy center it passes through, send healing and positive vibrations and thoughts to these parts of your body. Bring this light and healing energy up through all of your energy centers. First through your Root Chakra. This is the area located between the anus and genitalia. This energy center determines how you will feel at home in situations. Next, we bring the light into the Sacral Chakra. This area is located at the Sacral Bone or lower back. This center controls feelings and sexuality. Now we move onto the Solar Plexus Chakra. This area is located on the spine a little higher than the navel. It is associated with how you assert yourself and your self esteem. Next we move it into the Heart Chakra. This area is located at the spine level with the heart. This energy center is for love and affection, your kindness to others, being compassionate and friendly. With this chakra, we will spend a little more time here. As you bring the ball of light up into your heart, allow it to grow and fill your heart with an image of the world. Picture the planet being covered with green paint and that paint is your love. Let it cover over the entire planet, send it everywhere and let it consume you with love. When this is done properly, you will not believe the charge you get from this and the feeling of love that encompasses you. Now, keep that feeling as you move into your Throat Chakra at the base of the throat. This is the energy center for talking and self expression. Cleanse it with your ball of energy and love as you bring it into the Third Eye Chakra between and slightly above your eye brows. This is for premonition, insight and visualization. Keeping this feeling of love and positivity all through you and surrounding you, take it all out through the Crown Chakra. This is about 2 inches above your head. As the ball passes through and out of you, picture your pain and negativity leaving your body with it, and all that love you built up going out to the universe. This is a truly phenomenal experience. The feeling of sending love all over the world and negativity leaving your body, is exponentially healing.
That is just one of the things I like to do that seems to help, so I thought I would share it with you. I love all of you and I hope this finds it way to the ones who need it. Positivity is everywhere, it just depends on if you choose to see it or not. Take the time to unplug a little more each day and see how amazingly someones perspective changes.
