Alchemy, And How It Fits Into Awareness Of Self
Hello brothers and sisters. I hope you are all doing well. So, what is this lost and mostly forgotten art called Alchemy? Many think that it is just the transmutation of metals, more specifically the changing of lead into gold and finally arriving at the philosophers stone. It is so much more than the material meaning as we shall see later. For now, lets look a little into the physical aspects of it. Alchemy involves mainly the transmutation of 7 metals. The metals are Copper, Tin, Iron, Lead, Mercury, Silver, and Gold. We all know of these metals, but did you know they all correspond to their own planetary alignments and frequencies? Copper corresponds with Venus, Tin with Jupiter, Iron with Mars, Lead with Saturn, Mercury corresponds with Mercury conveniently, Silver with the Moon, and Gold with the Sun. These were the 7 known heavenly sacred bodies at the time. The Alchemist would attempt different combinations and ingredients, trying to find the gold aspects in these metals. The goal was to take lesser quality metals and turn them into gold. In the process of this, hoping to find a powder mixture that they could put in basically any mix that would turn into gold. Long ago, many worshiped the sun which is why it corresponds with the sacred metal Gold. I studied this long ago and there is much more involved, so if you want to dive into research, I encourage you and wish you luck. It goes quite deep and I never was able to find the much sought after philosophers stone. However, in this discussion we are focusing on the spiritual and metaphysical aspects of Alchemy.
As stated many times before, everything is connected. The ideas in Alchemy directly correspond with the aspects in our bodies. I am sure you may have noticed that in traditional Alchemy there were seven metals and seven ruling planets. Well, conveniently enough, we happen to have seven energy centers in our bodies commonly known as chakras. Each one controls certain aspects of our bodies, emotions, thoughts and feelings. Instead of corresponding with planets, the chakras correspond with colors and a few with elements (another Alchemy aspect) In previous posts, I talked about the chakras, but for those who don’t know or do not remember, we will do a little review.
The Root chakra corresponds with the color Red and the element of Earth. It is located between the anus and genitals at the base of the spine. It involves ambition, stability, self sufficiency and grounding.
The Sacral chakra goes with Orange and Water. It is located in the abdomen, about 2 inches from the navel. It involves things like basic needs of sexuality, creativity and self esteem. If this is out of balance, one will be consumed by and obsess over sexual thoughts.
The Solar Plexus goes with Yellow and Fire. It is between the navel and bottom of rib cage. This deals with things such as ego, anger and aggression. When this chakra is out of balance, it can actually manifest physically with problems in the digestive system, liver and things like diabetes. A balanced Solar Plexus will make one energetic, confident, productive and focused.
The Heart chakra goes with Green and Air. It is located in the heart region. This deals with things like trust, compassion, attachment and love.
The Throat chakra associates with Blue. It is at the base of the throat. It deals with things such as communication, healthy expression and inspiration. One who has an unbalanced Throat chakra will be unable to express thoughts or emotions, weak, quiet and timid. If this chakra is balanced, one will feel satisfaction, have constructive communication, positive self expression, and creativity.
The Third Eye chakra is Purple or Indigo. It is between the eyebrows. This deals with knowledge of self, insight, intuition and intelligence. Problems with this chakra can also manifest physically with strained eyes, blurry vision, and headaches. Also if unbalanced, it will make one more egotistical. When balanced, one feels confident spiritually and emotionally and free from material attachment and does not fear death.
The Crown chakra corresponds with Violet and sometimes White. It is about two inches above the head at the crown, and directly relates with the Pineal Gland. This is the center for positive and reactive thoughts and energy, enlightenment, and spirituality. It allows the inward flow of wisdom and the cosmic consciousness. If one is out of balance here, they will feel destructive feelings, melancholy and continued frustration.
If any of these centers are out of balance, they create energy (prana) blockages that do not allow our cosmic circuitry to flow in harmony. This can manifest emotionally and physically. The Spiritual Alchemist who seeks oneness with the cosmic consciousness would strive to balance these centers through combinations of diet, breath work and meditation. The ultimate goal or the Philosophers stone would be what some call the Christ consciousness. Christ is not some entity or son of god as the religions would teach you. It is a state of being, or the highest level of awareness of self. Being aware of self makes you aware that one is not physical but an expression of spirit or the energy of the universe. He was a man who spent many years of his life seeking enlightenment, working with masters from all backgrounds, and achieving the ultimate goal of tapping into the cosmic consciousness to become a creator and manifest as he willed with intention. We all are capable of achieving the same state as he did if we truly dedicate ourselves to these tasks. There is a reason why the bible does not speak of the years of his life from around 13 to the age of 30. What he was doing does not collaborate with the narratives they push on the ones they seek to control with fear and punishment. They do not want you to know that you are all gods and they do not want you to know the powers that are available to you. In fact, many organizations in power know this sacred knowledge and even put it in our faces with their emblems and symbols. We will look into that more in the future.
So, the Spiritual Alchemist seeks to transmutate all the lower states of being into the cosmic consciousness of the oneness of the Grand Architect of the Universe. We are made in the image of the universe and we contain and can create new universes. Through the powers of Energy, Frequency and vibration, we become one with ourselves and the oneness of all. We will be able to open up the long forgotten connection to the Ether and the resonant frequency of this planet we are on which will allow communication with our higher selves. We will discuss this more in the next post. I love all of you deeply and I am sending warm embraces and positivity your way with intention. The Journey continues!
