A Guiding Light?
Hello, and welcome back beautiful soul family. I hope you are enjoying the flow. Happy belated Mother’s Day to all the beautiful moms out there. How was everyone’s full moon on the 5th? Any strange events or feelings inside? We did a love ritual sending love to the world. It was a beautiful experience! Anytime we reflect our inner love outward, it is a beautiful perspective.
I was talking with my brother Larry, and he asked me if I would give my take on triggers, so here it goes :)
What is this thing we call triggers? Why are so many people on this planet “triggered” over the smallest and simplest things or altercations? Can a trigger be a good thing? Let us dive into these questions.
Now obviously, we are not referring to the mechanism on a firearm. According to the American Heritage Dictionary, it is also defined as a device used to release or activate a mechanism; or an event that precipitates other events.
A few interesting things catch my attention in these definitions. First, (A device) used to (Release) or (Activate) a (Mechanism). There is quite a bit to unpack here just in this simple definition. It is defined as a device (tool). This tells me right here that it has different operations depending on perspective, and utilization of these perspectives applications. Next it pin points that it has two functions within its mechanism, to either release or activate. From a psychological perspective, triggers appear to be a catalyst.
So, what is this catalyst? Plain and simple, Fear. Something that sets off a flashback within us that sends us back to reliving a traumatic event. This causes people to react from the reptilian part of the brain based on survival. The ego was challenged in a situation and control was lost. Now, this could have had included horrible acts done to someone, or by someone (self), and usually, most would not want to experience this feeling again.
This is where our triggers can actually become a wonderful guiding teacher for us. We see it all over, when confronted, challenged, and caused to relive the emotions that came with the experience, many are not utilizing this gift to its full potential. They are the ones that become aggressive, confrontational, delusional, and often times just start screaming loudly because they are being forced to live in a state of being cornered and no control. An illusion of the ego.
Most the world are in a state of reacting instead of action. They are reacting off the memory of the emotion instead of taking action to assess why they are having this feeling in the first place. Immediately, look to find someone else to blame for their response. This is a flawed fallacy.
Trauma is rampant in this realm. That is because most do not work with their own, but instead compound more trauma on top of it pushing the keys to our own self imprisonment further down to the catacombs of the internal dark self. This is where our shadow work comes into play. This is where we have a choice to act, or to react.
When we feel an emotional response, dive deep into why we are feeling this way. What is making us react in this toxic manner? Why are we as a wounded cub, still licking our wounds, instead of applying medicine to heal and learn how not to allow ourselves to be put in a similar situation again? Why reopen or even expand our deep traumatic energy injuries?
Triggers are our internal guidance system to unearth our deepest traumas. The subconscious is screaming at us, look into this! It is like our subconscious check engine light. We need to gratefully accept this golden opportunity to address this injury and release it so our growth is no longer hindered and we are not perpetually caught in a “groundhog day” state of fear doomed to relive over and over again.
In the quest for enlightenment, we are casting our burdens aside. We are doing the internal work to process, learn, and understand what anchors are holding us in place. We do this so we can grow. A calm sea never makes an experienced captain. It’s those big waves we face and ride to culmination, and the inclement weather we journey through that makes us appreciate the storm for what it is. The journey to enlightenment is the removal of our weights. We rid ourselves of our injuries to release our dense constraints, in essence making us lighter and less of a burden to carry ourselves through. Enlightenment (make lighter). Release and step away from fear.
Fear is a currency on this planet. The black wizards feed on fear. Like I have said before, they want to consume you. They need your energy because they have lost their connection to source. They do not look to better themselves and have in correlation become unplugged, and there is no power source to feed on so they steal ours. The more domain we allow them to hold over us, the more dense and weighted down we become. You are not going to change these entities, they are too far gone. But the way they interact with us is a call for help. They want to be freed but they can’t stop.
So many are too quick to hate, be it individuals, situations, or experiences. They draw attention to these actions and judge. Let us not forget the first Hermetic principle, All is mental, everything is mind. This means we are all one consciousness. Everything in existence is The All- one consciousness-one mind. We are basically fractals of vibrational intention.
So, this means that the ones we are so quick to hate are us. They are our “fallen” brothers and sisters from different dimensional perspectives. They are a part of us and we cannot deprive them of the love they deserve regardless of actionable response. The loving thing to do would entail becoming an alchemist of self and better ourselves so there is nothing for them to feed on. Stop being their food source so they can go home. Free ourselves and in turn free our fallen brothers and sisters.
It is deep internal processing that is required to see passed the ego and release. Be grateful for the lesson and do not allow ego to try and manipulate emotion to a reaction instead of action. It takes devotion, diligence, time and love. A constant awareness of our state of awareness. Am I (I Am) acting as a creator? Or, am I (I Am) reacting to an already flawed self creation? Key: (Honesty, Empathy, Compassion, Love, Forgiveness (others and self).
I hope this resonates with those who needed to hear it. I love all my brothers and sisters regardless of the choices they make or the intention they follow. Lets all take the steps to change this from the perspective of a tragic catastrophe, to a beautifully redefined Eucatastrophe. We all have the pen in our hearts. What kind of story will you write? See you next time brothers and sisters.
